6-week online intro class

Course description:

  • A six-week online introduction to mindfulness meditation.
  • Through a diversity- and trauma-sensitive approach, you will learn how to establish mindfulness of the body, of emotion, and of thought.
  • At an introductory level, you will learn skillful ways to work with unpleasant physical sensations, and with challenging emotions and thoughts.
  • The emphasis will be on how to regulate and resource yourself.
  • You will also learn how to bring warmth into the world with the practice of lovingkindness.
  • The weekly sessions will include check-in, experiential exercise, talk, guided meditation, and Q&As.

Administrative: Group size is limited to six participants.

Fee: The course is offered on a sliding scale, $100-200 as chosen by each participant. Anyone affected by the Marshall Fire need not pay more than $50. For scholarship, please contact me.
